La Chona Burger Restaurant - Best Burgers & Tacos in Mesa, AZ

I came here with my brother to try them out. I got a pastor burrito and he got a Hawaiian burger. The al pastor meat was the best I've ever had. Rich, juicy, and with an incredible sauce. He was really impressed with his burger as well. Burgers come with a roasted jalapeño and onions in a very unique soy based sauce which were out of this world good. The french fries were really nice and crisp with a thin batter on them and the faint taste of corn. The corn flavor comes from them using the same fryer for fries and tortillas and I found to be an amazing contrasting flavor. The menu contains tons of different items so it can be good for groups. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be adding them to my list of go-to restraunts!

This is the best burger I've had in town. La Chona Burger is a must. Delicious!

The chona burger has got to be one of the best burgers I've had in my 31 years of existence. I just finished eating 2 minutes ago and I'm already giving it 5 stars .

After working on properties all morning and stopping by Pratts Pets the fam was sooooo hungry. Little Rian and Kamilita wanted a burger and I wanted to try a La Chona burger. I got a La Chona burger with weenie and the works. The kids got burgers and friend plain. Mi esposita ordered the ceviche with shrimp. The food was fantastic AND we found out the the owner, JUB, is from the same town and my wife’s father and knows some of the family. What a small world and great Chihuahua style hamburguesas!

Hidden gem!! I went at 7:30pm on a Taco Tuesday and was the only customer. $2.25 tacos was the special and they were delicious! In the pic from front to back: chorizo, pollo, carne asada, and al pastor (the last was my fave). Friendly service. Would love to go back :)

We aren't from Mesa but to wait out traffic we googled food near me. This option won because I was like" great, I can have tacos and my in-laws burgers. Perfect!" I ended up ordering the chilaquiles, delicious! My kids got the Sony burger, one daughter the French toast and my mother in law tried the carne asada fries. Let me say this, I usually would expect mediocre food from a restaurant that serves all meals all day but WOW. Everything was amazing!!! The burgers were yummy, my daughters French toasts were beautiful and delicious!(I ate some as a dessert) We all left happy and full. I would for sure stop here anytime I'm in Mesa. Bonus, the lady who was running the counter was just sweet and made our experience even better.

The best burger and papa asada!! I’ve been looking for a place that has burgers like the ones in Chihuahua, and this is the best I’ve found in Arizona. So good, 10/10 recommend!

I just had lunch at this great place that is located in Mesa. You must give it a try!! The food is so tasty and is made fresh daily by a very nice couple who provided excellent customer service. I recommend this place one hundred percent!! Everything that I ordered was delicious!! (Pictures do not do it justice) This is definitely my new favorite burger spot! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
